Lawyer Shaikha Mohamed Al-Malki
Shaikha Mohamed Al-Malki is a licensed lawyer in the State of Qatar and the founder of Shaikha Al-Malki Law Firm & Legal Consultancy. Her professional background combines specialized academic qualifications with practical experience within the judicial system, providing her with a comprehensive understanding of legal processes, litigation procedures, and the administration of justice. This foundation enables her to approach legal matters with analytical precision, sound legal reasoning, and a strong commitment to the professional protection of clients’ rights and interests.
She completed her legal training at the Public Prosecution in the State of Qatar and subsequently gained practical experience at the Supreme Judicial Council. These experiences provided her with direct exposure to judicial operations, court procedures, and the practical application of legal principles across different stages of litigation, further strengthening her legal expertise and understanding of the judicial process.
Throughout her academic journey, she actively engaged in international legal programs and initiatives. Notably, she represented her university at the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, recognized as the world’s largest moot court in international commercial arbitration, bringing together law schools from countries across the globe. The event is held annually in Vienna, Austria.
Her international engagement also includes representing the State of Qatar as a Youth Delegate at the 14th United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice, held in Kyoto, Japan. This participation provided valuable exposure to international discussions and developments concerning crime prevention, criminal justice, and the advancement of justice systems worldwide.
Academically, she holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Master of Laws (LLM) in International Commercial Law from the University of Aberdeen, graduating with Distinction and Honours. Her academic achievements reflect a continued commitment to advanced legal education and the development of specialized expertise, particularly in commercial and international law.
She also achieved first place at the Institute of Legal and Judicial Studies, ranking first among the lawyers’ cohort specifically and across the broader cohort of legal professionals overall. She was formally honored by His Excellency the Minister of Justice, in his capacity as Chairman of the Lawyers Admission Committee, in recognition of her exceptional performance and distinction.
She is fluent in both Arabic and English, with a basic knowledge of French.
